Two professors will be assigned to each participant of the PIPES Program. They act as supervisors during the entire time of the postgraduate course and arrange an individual program.
The assigned supervisors help to ensure an excellent academic quality leading to the academic degree “Dr.-Ing.” or “Ph.D.”.
Furthermore each participant will receive personal guidance from a senior Ph.D.
student of the TU Berlin.
In addition to the research work, participants are expected to attend lectures to compensate possible scientific deficiencies due to the individual education and Ph.D. subject. Moreover the
courses should improve the scientific skills.
As accompanying courseworks following lectures are in preparation:
- Literature and knowledge management in process technology
- Modern computational methods
- Modern measurement methods
- Scientific writing and presentation
- Workshop in Process Engineering
- German courses for foreign participants
